This policy explains how Rivx-AI collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website and Instagram automation platform.

1. Who We Are

Rivx-AI ("Rivx," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of Elixent Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Elixent"). Elixent operates the Rivx-AI web application and website at rivx.ai. Rivx-AI is a software platform that helps businesses and creators automate Instagram Direct Messages, manage comment replies, and qualify leads using AI — only for Instagram professional accounts that you explicitly connect to your Rivx workspace.

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information and Platform Data when you create an account, connect Instagram, use our inbox and automation features, or otherwise interact with Rivx-AI.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, password or authentication provider details, workspace settings, and billing contact information.
  • Usage information: product interactions, feature usage, device and browser type, IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Business profile information: details you provide about your business (for example, description, website, hours, and product information) to personalize AI responses.
  • Support communications: messages you send to our support team and related correspondence.
  • Payment information: subscription status and transaction references from our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

3. Instagram and Meta Platform Data

When you connect an Instagram professional (Business or Creator) account to Rivx-AI through Instagram Login, we access and process Meta Platform Data only for the account you authorize and only to provide the features you use. This may include:

  • Account identifiers and profile information: Instagram user ID, username, display name, profile picture URL, and account type.
  • Direct Messages: message content, sender and recipient identifiers, timestamps, and conversation metadata for inbox and automation features.
  • Comments and media: comments on your posts, commenter identifiers, post/media identifiers, and related metadata for comment-triggered automations and replies.
  • Webhook events: real-time notifications from Meta about messages, comments, and related Instagram activity on your connected account.
  • Access tokens: OAuth tokens required to maintain your Instagram connection, stored securely and used only to call Instagram Platform APIs on your behalf.

We do not access Instagram accounts you have not connected, and we do not use Meta Platform Data for purposes unrelated to providing Rivx-AI. We do not sell Meta Platform Data or personal information.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Rivx-AI platform and connected Instagram features.
  • Display your unified inbox, send replies, and run automations you configure.
  • Generate AI-assisted responses based on your business profile and conversation context.
  • Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and protect account security.
  • Process subscriptions, send billing-related communications, and provide customer support.
  • Improve reliability, performance, and product experience through analytics and debugging.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

5. AI Processing

Rivx-AI uses third-party AI services to draft replies to Instagram Direct Messages and comments. When you enable AI features, message content, comment text, conversation history, and relevant business profile context may be sent to our AI provider to generate responses in your configured voice. AI outputs are used only to provide Rivx-AI features for your connected account.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate Rivx-AI, including with:

  • Meta / Instagram: when calling Instagram Platform APIs and receiving webhooks for your connected account.
  • Cloud infrastructure and database providers: to host the application and store account, message, and automation data.
  • AI providers: to process conversation content when you use AI reply features.
  • Payment processors: to manage subscriptions and billing.
  • Email and notification providers: to send account, verification, and support communications.

These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations appropriate to their role. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with appropriate safeguards.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information and Platform Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect Instagram or delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or backup integrity.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or export personal information we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
  • Disconnect your Instagram account from Rivx-AI at any time from workspace settings.
  • Opt out of non-essential marketing communications.

9. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information and Platform Data, including encryption for sensitive credentials and access controls for production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Rivx-AI may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

11. Children

Rivx-AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of Rivx-AI after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
